The i30 features a superior 7” colour supervision cluster display with digital speedometer, which puts all the essential information about your vehicle front and centre such as speed, safety icons and fuel economy.

Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, FCA warns you and then automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by a car ahead. The system also detects pedestrians and cyclists.

At speeds of 30 km/h and above, BCW uses radar sensors on either side of the rear bumper to detect vehicles next to and diagonally behind your i30. If a vehicle is present in the i30’s blind spot, BCW displays a visual alert in the exterior mirrors. If you proceed to activate the corresponding indicator light (suggesting a lane change), a flashing visual warning is provided and an audible alert is sounded.

LKA provides steering intervention to assist the i30 to stay in the centre of its lane. If the i30 strays from its intended lane without any indicators being activated, an audible and visual warning will be sounded.

Using the Blind Spot Detection system’s radar sensors, RCCW monitors for traffic approaching on either side of the i30 when reversing out of a parking space. Should RCCW detect a vehicle approaching, an audible warning will sound, with a visual warning displayed on the supervision cluster.

This system utilises the front radar sensor to detect the speed and distance of vehicles travelling ahead in the same direction and lane. It then automatically maintains a safe distance from that vehicle, up to a speed pre-set by you (between 30km/h – 180km/h).

At speeds of 64km/h and above, Driver Attention Warning (DAW) uses the windshield-mounted camera to continually monitor the i30’s position in a lane, while also tracking steering, brake pedal use, and time since your last break. When a pattern of fatigue or distraction is identified, the system gets your attention with an alert plus a pop-up message suggesting you take a rest stop.

FCW utilises the front radar sensor and windshield-mounted camera to detect vehicles and pedestrians in front of the i30. If a potential collision is detected, the FCW system will sound an audible warning chime and display a visual warning in the supervision cluster.

The TPMS displays the real-time PSI pressure for each individual tyre onto the instrument cluster, warning the driver of sudden pressure drops or deviations.

The in-built navigation system features an all-new touchscreen interface^[P4] with live traffic updates. It also comes with a complimentary 10-year maps update subscription while your i30 continues to be serviced at a Hyundai dealer.

Once you’re behind the wheel, Apple CarPlay^TM[P1] or Android^TM Auto^[P1] lets you safely play music, make calls, retrieve messages, get directions and more, to get the absolute most out of your favourite apps, all displayed on the 10.25” touchscreen display^[P4].

Keep your proximity key in your pocket and start and stop the motor simply by pushing the ‘Engine Start/Stop’ button mounted in the dash. You can also lock and unlock your i30 simply by pushing the small button on the front door handles.
